DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced that Sandi
Karrmann has been named senior vice president and chief human resources
officer, effective immediately. Ms. Karrmann replaces Robb Webb, who has
retired from the company.
As chief human resources officer, Ms. Karrmann is responsible for
Tenet’s enterprise-wide people strategy and human resources functions,
including labor relations, talent development, culture & performance
systems, compensation, employee benefits and other human resources
matters across the company’s corporate operations and three business
units—Hospital Operations, Conifer Health Solutions and United Surgical
Partners International (USPI). She will report directly to Ron
Rittenmeyer, executive chairman and chief executive officer.

Biographical Information
Since 2013, Ms. Karrmann has served as the chief human resources and
support services officer for United Surgical Partners International
(USPI), a subsidiary of Tenet Healthcare based in Dallas, Texas. Prior
to USPI, she served in several chief people officer roles for Yum!
Brands, Inc., including chief people officer for Yum! Restaurants
International and Pizza Hut US. Before re-joining Yum!, Sandi served as
the executive vice president and chief human resources officer for
Meritage Homes Corporation. Prior to Meritage, she spent nearly 13 years
with PepsiCo. In her last role, she was vice president of human
resources for the sales organization of Frito-Lay North America, where
she led human resources teams supporting both Field Sales and National
Accounts. Ms. Karrmann received her BA in psychology and communication
from the University of Michigan and her MBA in finance from the
University of Southern California. She is an executive board member of
Camp John Marc, a camp for chronically ill/disabled children in Bosque
County, Texas, and sits on the school board of Prince of Peace Christian
School in Carrollton, Texas.
