DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) announced today that it will be the Presenting Sponsor for the second annual Health Matters: Activating Wellness in Every Generation conference on January 15, 2013.
At the conference, hospital and corporate leaders from Tenet will join more than 400 stakeholders from health care, public policy, business, education, individual wellness and sports to identify strategies to improve individual healthy lifestyles in the home, the community and the work place.

Carolyn Jackson, CEO of Tenet’s St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, will join a panel on mental health and addiction, to discuss the hospital’s Center for the Urban Child, a primary care initiative that seeks to decrease health disparities by addressing the underlying causes while creating new models for clinical care and improving access.
